can any one tell me if i have to remove my headlight for racing? Or is it ok to just cover it in duct tape to stop it from shattering?

you should be right with the tape, my mates took there klx250 and xr250 for a lap at flat track the other day and just taped everything up.

technically you need to remove your lights for MX but you can leave them on for enduro provided they are not glass, I would be surprised if they aren't poly lenses anyway.

What a stupid rule that one is , the jagged pieces of sheet metal i put in place of my headlights are way more dangerous than the plastic lenses, oh but hang on the bulb is glass,,

If those pieces of metal are Jaggered and have sharp and protruding edges they are also illegal.

| Its not hard to take headlights off a bike and if you want to race just do it ,takes all of five minutes |
