I am biased and all that know me will say I'm mad but personally I love the thrill of the banshee. The 450, of which I have one also, is the better allround bike but just hasn't as yet given the same thrill and enjoyment of as BANSHEE. Both bikes are very reliable as long as they are maintained and serviced regularly. It really depends your riding preferences, the 450will easily be cofortable doing anything, the banshee can also do anything however you do have to work a LOT HARDER and you will most likely want to spend $ on the suspension before you do anything else.

Cheers Deano.

Brought a brand spanker Banshee 3 years ago, brought a brand spanker 2 years ago. I agree with the above comments, the 450 will do anything better but nothing beats getting the old head cam footage out of the Banshee and listening to the FMF fattys at WOT Cool laughing Cool laughing Cool laughing

the banshee has a mostly unchanged design for 20 years (j-arm to a-arm was the only mechanical change)
so your saying 20year old quad vs new quad?

but some of us love the kick of a 2 stoke and will sacrifice handling for the blue smoke and narrow power band

and yes the banshees are just as reliable

To Make a comparison in the road bike world the V-max a bike released in 1985! revieved its farewell this year with sales still at a great rate. The ONLY musclebike in town.

Now they've gone and made it badder (not a word i know laughing )

Certain bikes just become so legendary in their field they become some perpetual motion machine that people will NOT let stop.

Even as a Japanese bike, production was and always will be in california, muscle heaven for cars bikes and even the human form.

iv had both and i recon the 450 shits on it.. im gonna buy a nother 4 stroke for sure.. 2 strokes are just too "profanity removed" tempermental... but then again one day i will get a 3rd bike and it will be banshee lol their nuts fun once you do a bit of work to them their out of control..

ill probably build one for the dunes one day..

but if u had to chose the 450 by far

I may be one eyed but there's nothing quiet like a built 450!! engine and handling its all there.. banshee's may be great in a straight line but start throwing them around they soon loose apeal
