My suggestion is someone do a bit of engineering on some new cases and mount 2 of the Baja650 engines (Rotax?) parallel so you had a 1300cc twin cylinder grunter. You can upsize these engines to 800cc so a 1600cc Parallel twin? It could tow a criser with a caravan on it.
I just cannot imagine the torque you'd have to try and keep the front down on!
I always thought a V-max engine would be great coz they love low revs, but they arent the lightest, but the comes the lord of biking "V-boost"!
But now they have a 1700cc model at 200hp, I think the air intake is gunna suck in small puppies as it goes bye!

yeah that would do.
don't know about ultimate but mates putting 700r raptor engine (my engine ) in buggy should do the trick - only 30kg heavier than raptor _________________ Raptor 700 |

V-twins are sweet and buells have always been stump pulling.
I believe the latest Rotax for Buell is tuned a little more midrange but so long as they havent sacrificed bottom end so that you can standing start halfway up a dune.....
Ive never owns a roadbike, sports or naked sports, that wasnt a v-twin and I would gladly see something like the Yam MT-01 1700cc.
Im not interested in top speed I just want extreme efficiency in start power, low end torque and short shift your way through the tight stuff before you hit the straights. Give it a clutch/cvt to cope and pull dentures out of octagenerians as you fly past.... |
