we now have two juniors 13 to 16 age group both on rapter 250s need two more for a class come on guys someone must want ther kids to race
we are happy to travel down south to race but it would be good to race local as well call me on 0407289555

i no one young fella but he lives in brisy he is headin up to claremont 4 the rod n luke day next month might be able to talk to him about it then.....

when is the rod and luke day? what age do ya need to be for this day?
also i have a 10 year old on a blaster who is keen as to race --- what age do ya need to be for MA?

Unfortunately the Rod & Luke Coaching Clinic is fully booked. If you would like to be put on the waiting list PM name, licence details, and size of bike through to me. No promises though!!

To compete at a race meet on a 200cc Blaster the junior would need to be at least 12 years old. For your 10 year old to be able to compete you need a 90cc 2 stroke or a 110cc 4 stroke bike.

Hope this is of some help. It would be great to see more juniors in this sport.

thanks ace209 we will also be at the quad school i will talk with the juniors parants about racing we can train on the rocky track but need four for a class we will race any where in qld

Well I hear rumours that there is gonna be a QLD MX series next year and they are gonna run junior classes. You might hear more about this at the school.

We will be keen on that one, we have two juniors one on a blaster and one on a 90cc, used to ride in WA and kids are really keen to get on the bikes and track again. Put us down for racing. Keep us informed.

I too am interested in junior racing next year
My problem is I don’t wont to sell my son’s blaster and get a 90 if there’s not going to be a class for it ---- or will the 90’s race with the older kids on the 200’s+
Has any one got an idea of numbers for the junior classes next year?

where not sure on numbers yet but if the school was n indication there will be 2 junior classes n if we cant get the numbers it will probably be a stagared start for the 90's but there is more interest in the juniors at the moment then any other class so its lookin good

hi versaci good to here you are keen for juniors we have two on rapter 250s in rockhampton but we need 4 for a class if i can talk them into three will you come to rocky to race the blaster both the riders are 13 years old i am going to see if they will let us run a heat with two on a club day to try and get more interest
on another note rory and myself head to victoria with luke beechey in three weeks for rorys first race he is pumped so it should be good then we are back for qld titles

Yeah Kwaka, Luke would love to have a go at that, just let us know when it will be on. Anywhere would be good to ride, and travel not a problem. Any chance of 90cc too.

i have a daughter who rides a 90 she is keen to race but i am not so keen as she rides hard and fast and scares the sh##t out of me we also have a friend whos son rides a 90 and may like to race i will see what i can do i will go to the next rocky club meeting and talk to them i spoke to julie newsome to day and she said we should be able to run a junior class on club days there is a junior girl in their club who wants to race quads if so we will have 4
