Same bike different cc's about $1000 per 100cc as well.
Read a journo the other day who said the 800 was too much quad and that the 500 was a better deal.
Ive always been of the view myself that its always better to have the power there in case you need and never use it if not than to not have enough.
Basically we are talking the exact bike plus or minus cc's.
Unless the 800 were to take off at 150kmh at 1/4 throttle isnt it possible for you to just ride the bike as fast as you need an want without over extending yourself?
Never understoof why a manufacturer thinks they can charge extra dollars for NO EXTRA EQUIPMENT either, whats that all about. OK lets say $1000 is worthwhile but $3000 minimum in difference, thats rediculous and its not just this manufacturer. Seen the same in roadbikes and dirtbikes too.
A bike only costs so much, then somebody gets all pissey at you because they want the bigger model buts its not value for money at $1000 per 100cc.
Just a thought, coz these are a bike I'd be interested in buying one day. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
