its probly just due for rebuild with rebore, new piston etc...

I can assure you there is not an engine made for any thing that runs " about 1 mm " of piston to bore clearence, you will need to measure both with micrometer / bore gauge to determin the correct sizes if you do not have access or confidence to use these correctley take it to an engine builder / engineer to have them measured properly, all pisto sizes are measured in points of millimeters or thousands of an inch so accuracy is vital.
