I got it and I love it! Only con I can think of is that it catches alot of mud in the rear of it and it will end up down the back of your neck.
Biggest Pro is I like the use of my legs _________________ Smitty |

Definitely a great investment, I wouldn't be surprised if they became compulsory in some forms of the sport in a few years.
I was once told by an experienced osteopath that I may have had the pleasure of an ambulance ride had I not been wearing a neck brace. |

i want to lookinto getting a neck brace
but i kinda want one with the most mobility.... (if possible)
ya see all them dodgey ones around the place but ive not really seen many expencive brands (no local shops seem to supply them)
anyone have any particular product that they have and can say that they work well? (no puns about never being tested or any sorta spinal injuery please)
i'll be wearing a sixsixone presure suit! so it'd help if it fit on that! |

Gidday
I got the Leatt Neck Braces for my boys so as a mum I think they are fantastic and my boys have no problems wearing them at all. When I go to the Gippes most junior and senior 2 wheel riders wear them these days too.
You can contact Rosco Holden direct from Leatt Neck Braces and he will fit you and is a great and friendly guy with plenty of expertise and knowledge. Im sure the shops will do the same.
cheers

I got one, buuuut i dont like it how it makes it hard for me to turn my head becoz as you know you look ahead when you are racing and thus have to turn your head when going around a corner
But im all for them, now i dont feel so scared doing those big jumps!! haha not |

Hi
I spoke to Rosco Holden - very helpful and fits you spot on. I know there are a few reps that also provide their Leatt Neck Brace but if you contact Rosco on rholden@bigpond,net.au and say QRCV passed on his info he will definately help you out and get you in contact with someone in your area or help you out himself. He will also fit you personally as will the shops.
Good luck

i wore mine for the first time on the weekend and didn't notice i had it on.
it does restrict your movement but i am sure you get used to it.
you feel very confident with it on and i don't htink i will ever want to race without it now.
a very worth while investment _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it. |

My son races with the Leatt Brace ... would not have it any other way!!
I do like the look of the EVS however ... seels to spread the load over a bigger area of your back, other than just the spine like the Leatt ... would like to see an EVS IRL (In Real Live :p)
But I stall and always wll subscribe to "... the more you can put between you and the ground the better ... " _________________ Mikey got 3rd in the Nationals!!

We've been a dealer for Leatt for over 12 months now, definitely a quality product with very good back up. We have been told that Oz dealers will not be able to supply parts for overseas bought Leatts, all repairs are supposed to go through the Oz distributor, so I'm guessing they will only repair the braces that have been sold through Oz dealers. [ they all have serial numbers ] Another point worth making, the Leatt Oz distributor insists that all customers have a personal fitting, not sure how you get that through mail order? I guess its a liability issue, --- its not going to work if its not fitted properly.
Trud. I believe Roscoe is no longer a rep. for Leatt. I'll see if I can find the number of the new rep. |

Mate, There are only 2 sizes. Thats rubbish about a personal fitting. We have supplied over 500 customers & not 1 complaint. _________________ WE OFFER DISCOUNT TO ALL AUSSIE ATV RIDERS/MEMBERS www.kaosracewear.com |

I can usnerstand about the adjustment. There are the clips that need to be the correct size, as well as the "toung" that goes down ones neck.
But it is easy enough to do by ones self ... _________________ Mikey got 3rd in the Nationals!!

| Autofocus Marketing are the only Authorised Australian distributor for Leatt, for the names of the Authorised Australian retail dealers contact them on 07 55407189 or the Vic. S.A. TAS. rep. Geordie Miles on gmiles@autohold.com.au. Autofocus DO recommend a personal fitting for every brace sold. |

Some interesting discussion in there fossil, makes you think twice before just chucking them in your gear bag
. I have been using mine for about 3 months now and it is like a seat belt - just does not feel right if its not on |
