Hi everyone,

My name is Joe and I'm from Perth. I've never owned an ATV before, let alone a Banshee, but I thought I'd bite the bullet and grab one Smile

I picked this up last Friday night, and on Saturday morning, I was in the dunes at Ledge Point (about an hour North of where I live). As I'd never really been on an ATV before, I spent a few hours just learning how to tame the beast, but after I got the hang of it, it was SOOO MUCH FUN!!

Here are the pics I took (with the old owner in the photos) on the Friday.

Mods:

Aftermarket front bumper
Full length chassis skid plate
IMS Billet pegs
IMS shift lever (not fitted yet)
Billet grille
Billet fuel cap
Billet kick start
Trimmed plastics, originally white painted black
Removed rear brake light
Lightforce spot lights
Pro-taper bars
Reinforced frame (flat bar welded in around the top tube where the radiator mounts to).
Reinforced rear swing arm (flat bar welded in between the axle mounts)
Black powdercoated frame
Silver powdercoated swing arm and front suspension arms
Aftermarket head clamp (can’t remember the brand)
Paddle tyres on original rear rims
K&N filter with pre-filter
Mikuni single carby
Trinity 1 into 2 intake manifold
V-Force reeds
Bored and fitted with Wiseco pistons
Pro-circuit tuned pipes (painted wrinkle black)
Adjustable timing plate
New sprockets, 1 tooth higher on front
New O-Ring chain
Durablue axle

In the pics, it had normal tyres on it, but they were borrowed from the original owners friend just so he could show the bike to people (i.e. test ride on the street). The bike came with paddles on the rear once it was sold.

YES, she needs some nerf bars....setup for dune and sand riding, for some reason those sorts of machines never have nerfs or plastics on them. Looks damn kewl, but for safety reasons, the nerf's are going to be added.

Here are the Sat morning photos Very Happy

The thing is insane....comes on power band and all hell breaks loose!! Starts first kick every time too, which is awesome. Has great compression, so hopefully she'll go for a while before requiring a rebuild!

Needs a few bits and pieces done to it, to get it perfect....a rear brake light, rear caliper rebuild (its a bit leaky), and I'd like to re-do the seat because its a bit out of shape. Also chasing some nerf bars with the heel kick-up's too, to protect my feet from getting chopped up in the paddle tyres.

Anyways, glad to be a part of the community and if anyone is from my area, I'll see you out on the dunes Smile
