I had my mind set on the toomey tr6 exhaust for my banshee. While shopping around my dealer told me that they stopped inporting toomey because they had too many problems. Have read that the exhaust hanger bracket tabs break off on new systems. They suggest Dmc916 but i'm not convinced on the sound or the single exit sytem. FMF fatty is another system i have liked. Anyone out there have either system that they recommend. My engine is standard and don't plan on any porting or major engine mods.

i have t6s on my banshee and never had a problem with them. out of the dmc and fmf i would go for the dmc 916s they sound awsome but the fmf suppose to give a good powergain but on the other hand if you want real power from your pipes go for the t6s! just my 2 cents

cheers brad,

That Toomey's are having problems is a load. Sounds like your dealer has an agenda. Toomey only does exhausts for two or three models and to think they would get it wrong is...unthinkable. Toomeys come with a no questions asked warranty, so how can you go wrong.

toomeys have earned legendary status so the dealer may have been under a rock for the last 20 years. FMF are good for extra grunt but don't improve the sound a great deal, DMC have a nice note but aren't quite FMF output gain, pro circuit are another option.
now you've got enough info to know just enough to be dangerous...... welcome to my world lol

Hey mate, It depends on the type of riding you do and what you want out of a pipe. Personaly for woods, trail etc I went with Paul turner mids. I have only had a go on stock bikes with t5's and t6's on them and I like the PT's better. The PT's sound great, not to loud and give a great low to mid range gain.
