Go Honda thumb lever assembly they work great on a Yamy, better leverage...Cost just under $200 ,you have to order each individual part, there is no assembly price.Good luck!

what do I have to modify on the honda thumb throttle to make it fit the Yamaha housing?

Anyone had a look at a predator thumb throttle lever to see if it fits a Yamaha?

I really liked the profile of the Pred thumb throttle last time I rode one!

I have the Easy Spring System available to anyone interested. You replace the stock throttle spring with a aftermarket one. It's heaps better than stock.
You'll find it available on www.ratmotorsports.com.au/products/other/index.htm
