I shat my original bearings that came with what I think by memory is a denton swingarm, so obviously we refitted with dual row which are a couple of mm wider which we didn't think would be a problem until reassembly. On the Axle ,the distance between Cir clips doesn't leave enough room to position the Posi - lock nut for tensioning
has anyone else had issues fitting dual row bearings on a plus 4 Dura blue
or is there an easy remedy someone has engineered to save me removing and refitting standard bearings
or what is the preferred axle to accomodate and adjust with these bearings |

| With the aftermarket carriers whether it be duals or tapers, the distance from the outside to outside of the bearings should be the same as standard otherwise your sprocket and disc would be out of alignment. The extra width should be on the inside to take advantage of the extra bearing surface on the axle. Did you change the centre crush tube/spacer between the bearings and are your seals sitting in the right position? |

"This is happening , although inner surfaces ar flush with bearings the outer have another 3-4mm before a perfect seal /mate to carrier

No I didn't change the crush tube , and the seals could be a little to wide , if it could be tightened it looks like they would get squashed !
that was our first thought to trim a couple of mm of the crush tube! , but the mechanic said the back of the bearings can't go any further ! |

| The only way out is to machine the steps in the carrier deeper and trim the crush tube. Is it a round style carrier? |

Yeah , it's the round style . Sounds like the plan should only need 2-3 mm either side max ! , Thanx for the info |
