I was interested to read that we "are" mainly one sort. I thought we were all quad enthusiasts... but if we have to be classed into racers and rec riders oh what about rec riders that race...mmmm let see how this goes... _________________ Family is most important.... next is our quads |

I think there is not enough Pony Express/ Enduro style races where the social/ recreational rider is catered for, so if he wants to give it a go he can, but at his own pace. I was strictly a social/recreational rider until I entered an enduro just for fun. I look at it this way, you get to ride for four hours, legally, on some great terrain, at some interesting venues, there is never a chance of having a head on and the Ambo is always close at hand. And lets be honest the ....... stops when the flag drops! _________________ Its not if you win or lose but how you enjoyed the ride! |

above all rec is for me , i only race to help the sport grow and my mate is always in my ear about being faster than me so i have to sort him out on the mx track. the best thing is a few good mates and a long weekend what ever turns you on thats fine with me. _________________ hustleratv.com.au 0407 797 780

I'm a rec rider but it is good to see how many riders like rec & race riding.
For me the racing is great to watch. _________________ 06 LTZ400

I enjoy both rec & race riding, since our family got involved in the race scene we have met the best group of people and that's what it is really all about. Sharing the sport of ATV's with a great bunch of people, son & I both love to go trail riding but access to legal! riding spots is a bit limited.
Cheers Dean. |

love the relaxed riding at camp aways, having roost-a-thons is great, but sliding sideways around a speedway track is also bliss. _________________ yeah mate nah |

I'm a rec rider but only because racing is beyond my budget. Go-karts are my first love, raced them for years and when I ran out of money tried a dirt bike which didn't do much for me. I was blown away when a mate let me ride his trike and bought one within a month. But I must say if money were no object I'd rather be racing karts. _________________ 85 HONDA 250R
