Not Sure Pete ,
But there was this right up...

What a great turnout, we had 70+ Quads participate yesterday....
from Perth, Esperance, Carnarvon, Port Hedland, &Darwin.. Was great to see everyone come along and see where the nationals will be held and get some ride time on the track.

The Junior 90cc racers had everyones eyes on the track as they hadnt been to AJS before, amazingly they did the whole track and displayed more confidence at each and every session. Some of the Juniors relished the experience and couldn’t get enough time out there, but I’m sure I Heard a few displeased juniors that didn’t like the track. Kids theres lots of seniors that don’t like it either ! The Blaster Kids class seems to be getting bigger at every event and I’m sure a full grid soon isn’t out of the question.

There were 17 Clubman out on the track together yesterday, which made for an awesome scene for those new to AJS. Seven women tried their hand at AJS and also seemed to get more confidence the more they rode. Was particularly interesting to see the friendly rivalry amongst them all. Who will be the Womens 2006 Honda Pro Champion??

The Pro/Intermediate class was missing some big names yesterday with the news of some practice accidents surfacing at the track early at sign on. None the less everyone was amazed at how quickly some of the new riders took to the track like ducks to water ! or should I say to flight?

AJS is a technical sand track and it was a good chance for those that came yesterday to see how the track reacted throughout the day and with Quads only on it. There were some specific differences that made it all quite worthwhile for organisers of the forthcoming National event.

We hope you all enjoyed this fantastic Day, we thank the AJS Club in particular Ken, Bill, Brian and Darryl for all your efforts.

Chris broke his ankle after a morning of coaching kids, he was getting a few laps of practice in at Coastal before he went home, had a mishap on the finish jump.
The event was placed on the pole topic earlier in the week.

Chris wont let a broken ankle stop him.....

He is still in hospital waiting for surgery

Chris will be out of Hospital tonight, it has been recommended that he not do the next State round at AJS in two weeks but to allow at least three weeks for healing. Then he can train from there again.
