Hi guys, new to the site, i ride a KFX400 (looking to go to a 450). built an aussie comp ramp in 2007. havent jumped it too many times due to injury. i have had it at a gap of 50ft.
just wondering if there is much interest in quad freestyle around queensland, and infact around australia? the problem is i dont have a quad buddy to ride with, i just ride with all dirt bikers and would really like more interst in quad freestyle.... let us know what you guys think.
here are just a few random pics

If you don't ask or tell them before you do it then you don't need their approval _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

The ramp is in a completely different location, i will try and get some updated photos for you. |

Well Me and a few other guys share 3 ramps, a 1.2m tall, a 2m tall and a full size aussie comp at the back of my property. We only really have the basic trix down at the moment, such as heelclicks, can cans etc, so I guess u can say there is a building interest in australia. Ryan Lancaster from tom price would have to be the best in australia at the moment. _________________

they are just simple aussie comp specs, which is what all the dirt bikers hit 75ft gaps at, which is my eventual goal.
2.6m High
6.1m long
9.1m Constant radius, which i got curved professionally.
mine is 2m wide, but when i make my next one i am only going to make it 1.8m wide. |

| Hey Lad's! A few of you's onhere kno us, but as far as the freestyle thing goes Fearless Infection is really aim'd at trying to open up n progress this area of the sport. There are ssoooo many people wanting to venture into the freestyle scene that i'v talk'd 2 it's not funny!! There are a few riders who will be riding in our live show's later this year, but i can't say who, but ........ Oohhh well, stuff it! I'll Tell u what one of our plan's are! No one in Australia is getting decent money for any of the freestyle events thay attend even for show's put on for the public. This ring's true to many of the 2wheeler riders i know cos most of em tell us they do it 4 free!! It actually costs them 2 participate in these event's, which just ain't right, but I'll just say this much.......... Fearless Infection has been working on a solution for 2009, so if u'r really interested in freestyle n want 2 compete..... We're opening the gates 4 ya!!!!! The release date, set in concrete for our DVD n Release Party is set for early June. As soon as the Final datails are tied up we'll let every1 kno all the details! We actually make ramps 2 order, it's just we're so busy with getting the DVD finnished at present we don't have any time 2 build xtra's for any1 else but ourselves! A Compound for quads 2 use on the N.S.W QLD Border is also in the work's!!! But as i said, i don't want 2 spoil 2 much!! If any of you's want 2 talk about anything PM me and i'll Happily chat! Til then, Keep it Real PUNKS!! and GET AMONGST IT!! |

yeah well i have found a few 450's i am currently looking at... i am trying to find one with a-arms, suspension and nerfs already on it. because when you put all that aftermarket stuff on you start to lose way to much money, but then again its the love for the sport.
FEARINF13, how are we able to bust into this scene that you are creating? i have a full aussie comp ramp, which you would know from this thread, but i have been trouble getting the time to jump, let alone get better haha. |

Dickie, just get a suzuki LTR450 and you won't need any aftermarket crap. Mine handles ramp jumping fine in full stock trim. I've had some ugly landings and haven't bent of broken a single thing. You should be able to pick up some good second handers cheap now too. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA
