what have i done wrong ??

ok just a qiuck run down. i am having issues with my bike been very loose on the rear end when i go around corners its like the rear end wants to over take the front end. eek hence=crash on weekend were the bike smacked straight into a tree Sad would it be any of the parts i have fitted or is it my riding style.
i have fitted on the bike (700 raptor)

yfz450 shocks
lonstar + 2 A arms
lone star + 4 rear axle
total width of bike is 1310mm wide
razr2 tyres front and back (could it be tyre pressue)
could it be any of these causing the issue??

have you got a widend rear axle or a-arms etc??

used to get the same thing (nothing out of control) on mine with the wider rear axle with STD front...

It could be a combination of all the things youve done and a lot to do with just the set up and tuning.
Are the +2 arms you bought also +1 forward.
That will shift the centre of weight back and tends to create a pendulum effect with the proportionally heavier back end.
I know this is a problem when you fit +2 +1's to an 04/05 TRX450.

Have a talk to Quad Squad, Adam will ask you 20 questions and work it out in minutes.

My 700 was a real pig around corners and in rough stuff, had all the swingarm rebushed and axle bearings done and she was as tight as a nun's penny pouch again. Yours would be due by now too if you havn't already done so, standard is a pressed plastic bush that lasts for never,, Evil or Very Mad

Not saying that this is your problem but I found it to be mine, 2mm of freeplay at the front of the swingarm equals a lot more at the rear.

how much tyre pressure do u run?

take the spacers out of the axle and see if that helps

Woodridge at this time of year on that dry slippery white clay is going to be slippery no matter what........ if your not steering it like a sprint car, your ass end is gonna come around and face you the wrong way !
Quick remedy narrow the rear end slightly from the front width
Razr2's will be fairly slippery on that track while its dry.
Throttle control very important

The wider you go,the more slide you will get.... eg you will lose hook up in the corners.
Follow up on changing the swingarm bushings.

Has it got a yamaha sticker on it ? put a KFX700 sticker on it, it will slow the bike down quite considerably, problem solved. Sad

what is your front end geometry ie castor and camber? could be to little castor and it will flick out to easily.

thanks for your help every one .. off the top of my head the tyre pressure is 3.5 psi fornt and back. the tyres are 6 ply

the front wheels are set at 3 deg castor ?

they are +2+1 A arms

i will take the rear axle in 2 inches each side and try that to.

the rear swing arm bush is good and tight bike only as 40 hours on it . bit stupid not having a greese point there !!!

Caster is the amount of angle that the spindle has in relation to the vertical centerline of the wheel.If the upper ball joint is farther forward than the lower ball joint, it is said to have negative caster. If the upper ball joint is farther to the back than the lower ball joint, it is said to have positive caster. The greater the amount of positive caster, the more stable the ATV will be at high speed. The less positive caster it has, the easier it will steer and the quicker it will turn. As the spindle is laid back, the tire has to lay over more when the front tires are turned. around 5-6 degrees is reccomended for MX and general riding and 6-8 degrees for desert racing
