Hello. I am thinking about upgrading my 350 raptor and i was thinking about the z400. Is there a lot more get up and go or not that much differents. I like the raptor 700 also but price wise, maybe a bit to much. My weight, (cough) is 102kg and im 5'4" tall (short). So you can see im alittle bit big (alot) for the 350. Any feed back. cheers

you'll grow out of the 400 just a quick... save your pennys and buy the raptor 700... Surprised Look around for good 660 raptor, still a good bike all the same, just not a 700. Smile

Mate, it sounds like u need a real mans bike,
go buy yourself a DS650, it will have no problem pulling that 100kg body of yours.
They handle awesome, go harder than anything in there class, and alot more, only downfall is they have no reverse and weigh 200kg+

dont think the z400 would be enough of a step up if the 350 isn't doing it for ya.
plenty of other good quads worth looking at if 700 is bit rich or you could throw a slip on pipe, jets & airfilter on the 350 to keep ya happy while ya save.

Well I have riden quite a fair few different quads over time....
A raptor 700 does handle a bit better than a 660, 450 handle much better...
If you want to ride a bigger bike and can't afford a 700 and you want reverse and lots of power go a 660....
I know after considering different factors that is the way I went and I am happy with what I have, with the money I saved in the short term I invested in my rocket and now for the same price of a 450 or a 700 I have a weapon that will leave any 700 or 450 (with full system exhaust/modified air intakes new ECU's) for dead, no problem, no hesitation.... if you want an all round trail bike, the 660 cannot be overlooked laughing laughing laughing

I have notice that the raptor 700 is a lot lighter than the DS650 or kfx700. Does that make the raptor float around more on the trail being light. (having my 102kg body on it would hold it down tho).

with your weight and the weight of a rappy i dont thing floating will be much of a issue. if it is floaty its power not weight issue..
