I watched a video of Big Red lining up against the Turbo Busa
Big Red made it look easy WOW! He made it look like the Busa's was not running to it full potential on d day.
My question is, Is Big Red the fastest 2 stroke Quad in Australia?

A Rotax 250 twin superkart would be quicker too, if its slicks could hook up on sand! _________________ 85 HONDA 250R

those things are crazy, i hear they are capable of 280km/h and just as fast as v8 supercars and motogp bikes on some circuits! is that true? _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

Yeah your about right with the top speed 4stroker. Superkarts are about 2 seconds quicker at Eastern Creek than V8 supercars. At Phillip Island the moto gp lap record is 1.29.0, Superkart is 1.32.6 & V8 is 1.33.7. Quite interesting. I've seen them twitching sideways as they change into 5th gear on the straight at the Creek!! _________________ 85 HONDA 250R

Big red 535 has some serious gear change issues you need an 1-5 dunable overide so you dont have to let of the gas,And smother changes will be a lot less aggressive on your chain.
Its not so much the rider, the gearbox is spinning so much faster for the gears to mesh. _________________ OH "profanity removed" I SAID "profanity removed".......OH "profanity removed" I SAID "profanity removed" |
