I am I wasting my money by looking at buying a raptor 350 to race in the NT. Its last year model or would I better of buying a polaris predetor 500 year 2002 model needs some work.
Ps Is it worth bring my daughter to Darwin to race she has a raptor 250r and is finding it boring down here at katherine racing against the 90cc quads.

How old is your daughter?
the 350 raptor would probably be eaten for breaky, however the polaris 500cc may get beat by high tech 450's but of course it depends upon the rider also. most on the track are 450 new generations. The polaris was the top bike in it's day so i reckon that you will have more fun on the polaris than the raptor.
We are keen to welcome you and your daughter to our scene.
DMCC is MA however we will help your daughter get through the junior training required by MA.
We have some really talented junior riders on 200cc's so your daughter would not be board. and due to low numbers we have run the ladies quad class with the teenage 200cc class and we all enjoyed it.
If you do make the effort to come up we will come down when we can as we really enjoyed KORMAS club and tracks.

My daughter is 12 and she has done the training for her MA licence will be sending it off to Jordy next week. The plan is to race the fisrt weekend in April. Will look at getting the 500 then otherwise I will have to cruise around on the 250 raptor. As a MA club what mods are allowed on the quad?

Unfortunately we have to deal with the anti quad attitude some bike riders have so it's frustrating but it is definitely a growing sport...
