Lot of money for something i could knock up at work..

Dosn't a lot of engineering and research go into widened a-arms..

Just my 2 cents...I could be wrong...

I've looked at these before and personally dont see them as a professional option. Fine if you want to whip the kit up at home a do a really cheap job etc.

Engineering wise they are a bit of a nightmare. bolts spacers and washers everywhere. Added weight. Increased stress on standard frame mounting points. Steering geometry changes.
Basically there is no improvement on your standard suspension... the quad is just wider.

save up and get the wider arms.

Like Gammie said maybe ok for flat track or speedway... anywhere that suspension travel and strength is not as important.

My daughter has used this kit on her blaster for a couple of years.... out of 22 blasters at the 2006 Nats, she came 6th overall.... So it handled racing and Jumping at AJS and a couple of years racing many club runs and Opens.... never had any probs with it... My son just turned Senior, she inherited his shocks and A Arms, we sold his quad with the kit on it....
For the price, it is a good option if you cant afford the whole front end...
In Her words, having the adjustable width, to suit the rider is good, with the A Arms, your stuck with that width. She also had 3 pretty specky crashes in the last 18mths, and no damage to the widening kit.

Just thought we would add our 2c as having used them.

Not a bad idea as a budget set up for a blaster but I'd be steering away from it on a 450 or 700, especially Yamaha's as the stock arms aren't really strong enough anyway.
