Hi Everyone,
I popped in here just before Christmas as we bought our boys quad bikes for Christmas, they are 4 and 5 yrs of age. We couldn't find anywhere for them to ride.
After joining this forum and reading through alot of the posts a couple of places mentioned for quad riders, only when I called them my kids were far too young, eventually I found a spot just round the corner, funny thing is I would pass it everyday and never take any notice of it, it is a proper track, 16.5 acres they cater for go-carts, bikes and quad bikes, which was the last place I had called out of many, at the moment they have a free membership for the month of January, their usual fees are $35 per day but if you get the membership (usually $25 for the year) you get a day rate of $25 if you bring your own.
The place is called "The Track" it is located in South Morang, 465 McDonalds road their telephone number is 03 9436 9100 for anyone who has been looking for places to ride in Melbourne for their kids. We have been there for the last 2 days and our kids have had a ball, there are different tracks for them to go on depending on their experience.
Thought this post would help others and least for Jan the membership is free. The membership gives you $10 off each visit so visits are $25 for the day.

Welcome aboard Tazza, great news on riding for your kids, but you need to contact the QRCV as they have a great kids section, I'm sure a few members here will contact you about what they can offer you and your family. _________________ 2005 KFX700

| Hi Yogi thanks so much for the welcome, I have seen many of your posts, you seem to be a leader in helping people here, I'm very green with quad bikes and everything to do with them, we got sick of our boys destroying their toys by boxing day, so we bought them a couple of cheap quads for now, lol they have lasted past Boxing Day. As for contacting the QRCV??? i don't even know what it stands for. |

Welcome, and glad to see you found places to ride.
It is getting harder and harder to ride nowadays without buying property just for riding. _________________ Andrew |
