HAHA Yogie(Bat man) you had to put your 50cents in didnt you haha
well thats a fair call for high proformance parts do wear out (yamaha) quicker than trucks(kwakas) so do people look at you funny when you fill your bike up with desiel _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

Well mine is 12 months old now and has been raced in both enduro and grass track events, no sign of wear yet at all, but it has been checked and adjusted regularly and good products used within the engine..
Hope it can go another 12 months before I even need to think about revalving or anything else. _________________ Andrew |

engine life varys i think on the riding you do and the terrain you ride on,
I had a FEW dramas with mine when it was only 6mths old, serviced it all the time, good oil factory part etc etc, did alot of riding on sand and trails so it spent alot of time in the high revs and lots of crawling up stuff.
Id be keeping your serices up, and getting your clearances check reguarly, prob a little more than normal... just to be sure. |

How would the chance of sand getting in places it shouldnt, I ask this because most of you (NSW) chaps only do stockton. _________________ 2005 KFX700

yogie. ozzy would have had issues due to the high reving part not the sand getting in the engine from my understanding.. _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

| nah it may of been a combination of the two? rolled the big girl many a time so a bit of sand could of caused some dramas, but i genuinly think it was more to do with my style of riding (ride it like you stole it) |
