Interesting tender advertised in th Herald sun this week.
Contract no: 7163
Contract type: Expression of interest
Title: Provision of research into the benefit - Cost of providing Off-Road Motorcycle Ridng Facilities in Victoria
Closing date: 06/02/2008

Description:
To reduce motorcycle injury, predominately in relation to off-road riding, VicRoads is seeking expression of interest from appropriately experienced providers to be short listed to undertake research into the benefit-cost of providing off-road motorcycle riding facilities in Victoria.
Tenders will be invited from a short list of suitable providers who will be selected on the basis of information provided in this expression of interest process.
Hope someone remembers to represent the interests of ALL off-road riders including four wheelers, can only hope.When they award this contract I'm gonna look up who it goes to & watch with interest.

If you are going to keep on this one...
And if the findings are public documents with positive outcomes for quad sport in general...
please make sure they are forwarded (or known to) QRSA.
This could be interesting if the right influences get across.

Keep an eye on DBW, there'll be one or two there that will be right on to this, and I know one of them will not letting the 4 wheelers get in on this, if he gets his way.
