This is prob a really stupid question.
Why dont quads run fuel filters like cars/boats etc?
I have put a marine filter on my YFZ450. I haven't noticed any downsides like slow supply of fuel etc. I just feel that I spend all this money on my baby, I'd hate for something like grit in the fuel to cause it fail.
I'm mechanicly retarded so thats my excuse. |

| The YFZ450 have filters in the tap inside the tank. I'm retarted too, lets get together sometime. |

The petcock/tap has a filter like Greenhuman said.
To service you'd need to remove it from the empty tank.
It's still not a bad idea to run a inline filter as well.
There cheap <$10.
They also come in handy to see if fuel is coming out.
