Hi guys just putting a feeler out to see if their would be any intrest in an Extreme Enduro?
I would love to get one of these events off the ground i'm not talking about your run of the mill 3 50km loops around the bush.
I'm thinking along the lines of the Erzberg Rodeo in Europe. An Enduro designed so hard that most entrants will not finish. Including snotty hillclimbs that may not be possible to get up, river/water crossings, tight first gear stuff littered with logs to get over, huge down hills full of washouts and rocks, man made obstacle's that you would have to deal with, you get the picture?
Would most people think that this is too hard? The object would to get to the finish not to win but if you do win then that would be a bonus.
I just want to know if their would be any interest before I do any ground work to see if it's possible.

that would be awsome
like that race they got in europe where they started in a mine and they had to go straight up a hill, over 50% of the riders couldnt do it

Sure would love to have a go at it smithy thats if the old grizzly would be able to compete,, im not into racing but sure love getting out in the bush and giving it "profanity removed" and having a good time

Thats great I didn't know if their would be anyone keen to give this a try. Don't expect anything for the next year or so it's going to take some time to find the right place although I have a few locations in mind. And yes Grizz ag quads would be involved to as they would be fantastic in those conditions.
Bigo I don't plan on it being a bike killer but I guarantee that if you love how pretty your quad looks, it wont look as good after the event

An extreme enduro, sounds like heaven to me. LOL. I'll be able to put poalris 525 outlaw to the ultimate test and see if it makes it through in one piece. Don't know if I'll make it through in one piece though.LOL.

You won't have time to run in a jumbo class Pete. Smitty can't even get through an mx meet without breaking his quads, so you can imagine how busy you'll be if this goes ahead.

hey madman
you really need to consider coming up here for a few events!
Our organisers could give you some hints  Huskygoat mentioned the Kamfari - which strikes fear into most pros! That why you get something if you finish. however if you don't 4x4 then you should try our delightful pony xpress series! they go 100km down the track to adelaide river find the biggest f hills they can - and guess where you go... there were 2 hills in the last round which made some of the guys cry. I stalled the outlaw at the top of one when i panicked. the loose rocks formed a rock slide and carried me down if i weren't so scared i would of closed me eyes! (after all I had borrowed his outlaw) both a canam and yamie climbed trees...
Oh and the other event would have to be the boulderdash - this to is held at Adelaide river - 2 day endro - on the bike side i think 25% of the field started on the second morning.... lucky i was out with broken hand from the katherine endro.
I am sure huskygoat and I will come watch
