 |
|
G'day guys,
I have an 04 Raptor in stock form, and have removed the airbox lid. I now have a bit of a flat spot on WOT. I have taken the needle clips from the centre position and lowered then to the bottom position to increase fuel flow. It is now a bit sluggish to come on to peak power but when it gets there, it goes way better than it ever has.
Is there a recommended needle position or jetting changes for lid removal on a stocke engined machine? |

Jump on the raptor forum and search either in the 660 section or use the search engine on the home page. I have just had a quick look and there seems to be a stack of posts on the subject of re jetting for different types of mods.

| Get a DynoJet kit. The kit comes with better needles, main jets and instructions for different mods. |
