Ok then.
For those of us who have to "mix" our fuel......
What is your favourite oil to use with your petrol and why???
I like TTS for the smoke when the engine is cold and it has that lovely 2Stroke smell I grew up with.
But for clean burning I like Maxima- but costs more than TTS
Have tried plenty of others but those are the 2 most common I use.
Anyone ever get desperate and buy the cheap oil from the ONLY dodgy servo that you could find still open-(that still costs more than TTS I might ad!! ) I think the bottle says: "suits AIR-COOLED mopeds and motor-scooters up to 250CC" Then you go F@#k I have a WATER COOLED 350!!!
But you buy it anyway _________________ RAPTOR 660:

I buy my dirty sh!tty oil from the only servo still open, its mobil oil and its not cheap. Cost me $76 but its fine as far as I'm concerned. Its the only stuff I can get in town and it smokes when its cold and smells just right _________________ stock 07 shee |

Lots of people run Motul. We run Torco, top stuff, no smoke, everything is nice and clean looking when we do rebuilds (exceot for the time i seized my bike) And it is cheaper than Motul. _________________ Mic

| having built hundreds of two stroke race motors in more than 30 years in the trade, cant go past Motul 800T, use it in my son 2 Blaster and son 3 very modified 11000 RPM LT80, [ has some serious 'feet per minute' piston speed ] never had a failure due to lube in either of these. Wish we had 800T years ago. Only downside, it doesnt smell as good as R30 |

I Know a bloke who told me about this other bloke who knows his stuff and he said to use Valvoline performance outboard full synthetic 2-stroke oil. Cheap as chips at about $23 for 5litres from supercheap and its the stuff thats good enough for big dollar outboard ski boat engines. Been using it and it works and smells a treat. my wallets looking good too! _________________

http://www.performanceoiltechnology.com/snowmobiles.htm
alot of test performance data there
cylinder head temp is coolest with Amsoil, with comparitive tests,,same motor,,,hard to argue with that.. _________________ 007257 where are you???.... bring back the Bling |

Somebody is thinking!!!!!
However you guys would also need a 4Stroke section to be fair?????
I certainly dont want to get involved in an 'us & them' scenario (such as the 2Stroke VS 4Stroke poll)
What do the rest of the 2Stroke riders think??
Technical, tips, techniques, 2Stroke ride days.......... mmmmm I can smell it already and picture the smoke haze!!! "ring-ning-ning" _________________ RAPTOR 660:
