why do you think that there are not very many 2 stroke atv's in production any more. Four stroke power rules the mx track. _________________ ride it hard or go home |

because the manufactures dont want to put any research and development into them they chose the easyway out, the 4 stroke
tis also cause there eaiser to ride and such but that dont stop me from being a 2 stroke fan all the way to the end

How about we compare 2 & 4 strokes on a same capacity basis????
Eg. 250 two stroke v's 250 four stroke???
Then we'll see how good your 4 strokes are you wankers???
Everyone fails to factor in the capacity difference when comparing!!!!
How about a 500KX or CR v's a 500TT of the day huh???
How about a 350Raptor and a 350Banshee?????
Get over it it's personal preference.
They dont make many 2strokes anymore due to emission regulations (save the whales all that crap)
Who here can take the head off a 2stroke???? Lets do a poll on who can fix a 2stroke and who can fix a 4stroke????
In what way is what better?? This is a mute point with no actual outcome other than p!ssing people like me off
FOR THE RECORD I HAVE BOTH AND ALWAYS WILL AS THEY SUIT DIFFERENT PURPOSES!!!
F#@K YOUR ONE MINDED POLL
Hard to compare when more 4stroke models have ever been made than 2 strokes in Quads, 2 wheelers whatever.
Lets all enjoy our riding no matter what we ride and not divide us!!!!

having just sold the banshee and sad to see it go at that, i still believ the 4 strokers are the better option, no need to keep it on pipe to get it to go doesnt foul plugs, no need to premix fuel ( i ride my raptor into the local servo for a refill and buy myself a can or two whilst im there) but i did enjoy the banshee>>> _________________ getting your quad around just got a whole lot easier www.ozcustomquadcarriers.com.au |

Well depends on which way ya's look at it!!!
My First quad was a 4 stroke and gave me the idea on how to begin riding atv's and get use to them,It was such a piece of crap by the time i had finished with it, but once i got the courage to handle a real bike i just had to step up to the Most wanted 350cc Banshee!!!
Oh did i mention the 4 stroke was 1 of those gook bikes????LMAO gotta love em!!!! _________________ "Its Only A Flesh Wound !!!"

I think this debate is like rotary vs V8. Different strokes for different folks
personally I need as many strokes as I can get (sorry I have a few drinks) _________________ Ive heard that sound before and this is going to hurt |

I dont take it personally I just hate people doing the Ford V's Holden..... Piston V's Rotary..... Your missus or mine??? (oops wrong forum- scratch that bit I dont share my missus ) thing for no point at all coz we'll all do what we want (for the most of us anyway)
For the record I dont like Ford or Holden but I go for Ford in the V8's.
And more relative to this topic I prefer Rotaries as they remind me of filthy, smelly oil burning 2Strokes (but I dont have a rotary )
I'm fine with the outcome just so long as no-one gets a chip on their shoulder because they ride what won in a Forum poll and that makes them better..... it doesnt.
Alot of history in our Quad/ Trike scene goes back to 2Stroke origins in the performance sector of the market but for our industries that use these vehicles for work they have always used 4Strokes.
I would like to see a third option in the poll to say who likes both??? Put down one vote for me on that one....... _________________ RAPTOR 660:

would have to agree with yamaha06blaster, nothing like the powerband of a two stroke. I ride a four stroke cause it suits my needs, I'm lazy and don't want to work on it _________________ Ive heard that sound before and this is going to hurt |

Actually its so funny I cant get the smile off my face waiting for you guys to take the bait!!!!
Clearly someone has an issue so there has to be for, against and dont care..... so based on your name you must be 2Stroke?????
Dont stress over my banter its just an opion (and hopefully a laugh for some )
I am entitled to an opinion aren't I????

The biggest killer of 2 bangers is the tough new emission laws coming in the USA, california is leading the way, and if ther'e not banned already, its just a matter of time, and thats why they are going.
MFI chill out chap, we're all on the same side okay... _________________ 2005 KFX700
