I've got an 04 YFZ Fourfiddy and its well overdue a birthday.

I'm going to throw a piston at it, can anyone recomend a good quality brand of piston easy to source here in OZ.

There has been a bit of talk about drilling an oil in the cases for improved reliability. Has anyone done this themselves?

What size, where to drill, what angle do I drill at?

Any help would be appreciated

Just a FYI

the Quad Squad uses and recommends CP pistons, we have tried nearly every brand but came back to the CP. We now use a custom designed high-comp setup, that are in stock now in many configurations

we also do the oil mod, it greatly increases engine reliability and we highly recommend it

PM, Email or phone if you would like to know more

thanks

I use JE forged pistons in all our high comp race engines or Genuine if it's staying STD.

JE pistons available from Southern Quads or Phil Tomlin Racing Products

$349 RRP
