hey
outboard oil will work but i dont recommend it.
i run a mineral based cheapie when i run in new pistons (always told to never run fully synthetic with new pistons, rings etc)
but after that i use shell advanced vsx 2 stroke fully synthetic and its great looked after my motor really good!!! but for $80 for 4 litres its a bit expensive
hope this helps _________________ 01 Banshee

whots wrong with the out board oil ,i put it up to use it on the forum i have used it for over 25 years & on all my banshee ,s + road racing the one i have now , have had no trouble with it ,people may laugh well do that , if a f1 out board can run at 10000 rpm + the can run air cooled motors as well ,i call its ok for a banshee.
i use valvoline outboard 2 stroke oil $20 5 LTRS WITHA $10000 MOTOR NO PROBLEMS AT ALL BECAUSE IT MIXES 100% QUICK
synthetic high perforance/high horse power for both water & air cooled motors, NOTE WHEN I PULL DOWN A MOTOR ITS ALWAYS CLEAN IN SIDE ,IS YOURS WITH THIS FANCY HIGH COST $100 LTR STUFF

hey im not trying to cause a fight here i just know for a fact outboard oils have an additive to help with the wet conditions, i use outboard oil in my bike when i run out of the "FANCY STUFF".
the outboard oil i use when i run out is the same as what you use.
im not saying he cant use it only i "dont recommend it" if it works for you good and youve had no problems than thats great
im just giving my 2 cents.
also how often do you do a tear down on your $10000 motor? _________________ 01 Banshee

| once a year to check its ok & on the back of the bottle ,read both bottles are allmost the same wording the bike one $45 / outboard bottle $20 why use it it mixes 100 % were most fancy s hit you have shake it up then it settles to the bottom thats why most bikes go boom, & leans out. we use it in all 2 strokes even the mower. when you pull down the mower its very clean in side to, thats why i started to use it for the banshee, and put it on the forum to use.top stuff by now from quad |
