Townsville's where im from just wondering if anyone's from around here?
seen a few guys ride around on quads where i ride tho not many since i bought the miss's a quad!
tho it's only been a week:D
i ride mainly around mt lousia at the moment it's a bit bumpy but thats comming from riding a yz125 to a polaris outlaw!
70-80kilo to a 190ish kilo bike!

hey mate i live in townsville but originally from burdekin so i ride there mainly, never really been riding anywhere in townsville except for savanah and mount louisa to test ride bikes.

hey the miss's is from the Gumlu! so yeah you may know her bro? (paul totorica)? he has just started racing at speedway and flattrack (in brandon)
ive been riding as much as possible out mt lousia! ive been told never to take a bike to savanah:D salt mud finds great places to hide!
but yeah we've had the outlaw for like 2 weeks now! and ive kinda been starting to look for ppl to go riding with around townsville
thinking of taking it down to beach mount and stuff near ayr but the bro-in-law is in picking season at the moment! |

hey yeah i was at speedway the night of paul's first race i think it was, he went well.
as you may know everyone in ayr knows each other so yeah i know who the totoricas are they may not know me though!
yeah believe it or not rising sun honda actually took me there to test ride my cr500 when i bought it, i wouldnt go there again though!
beach mount is good we go a fair bit and make a flat track at low tide and race around it till the tide comes back in! not much other variety in terrain though there is a good track through the dunes would be awesome fun on the outlaw but not sure if you are allowed on it anymore?
otherwise a good place for you to go riding in the burdekin is the anabranch river, lots of good tracks that run up through the river banks its not all sand and yeah, just good trail riding really. watch out for wallabies and 4wds though!
my banshee is out of action at the moment waiting on my new axle to come and i have new tyres waiting to go on so once its done in a few weeks i will be reay to rock!

yeah i figured you'd know who he was!
ive been riding at mt lousia now for a while!
only thing is you chew through tyres like no one's buisness!
(like 50% at least gone in 2.5 weeks)
some fairly good trails tho!
kills ya attempting to keep up with ya mates on motorbikes!
but sure is fun!
yeah paul keeps trying to get me into racing at speedway and or flat-track! hahaha maybe oneday but doubtfull!!! my dad races formula 200's at speedway. he's like "f*&k that! no rollbars and when you hit that big white thing you hurt!" hahah
yeah saw a banchee out riding at mt lousia yesterday!
forgot how quiet they are!
so nucking futs tho!
getting about 10m distance jumping about 75cms off the ground!
slowly getting used to riding trails on the quad but kills ya with the thumb throttle!
twist throttle could be first upgrade! |

yeah im finding it hard to get used to the thumb as well after riding bikes all my life.
i think i will try one of those thumb throttle extensions before a twist though.

you race with Paul and Rina (pauls my bro-in-law)
he keeps trying to talk me into racing flat-track!
i askes paul and rina if they knew you an they said yeah!!!
and their decription was "that guy that rolled the 525polaris!!"
nice!
i was planning on trying to get to the bohle track this weekend but i cant get a full day free!
tho i will oneday!
should gimme a yell next time you're heading there i'll at least have someone to ride quads with! |
