Yeah i was looking for ideas on how to cut my front plastics on my yfz450

cut them with a hack saw first then file and sand paper the edegs. The poulan chainsaw wont cut it you need a ms260 stihl _________________ yfz 450 |

Use masking tape to get the cut lines you want, cut with a jig saw with a course blade & then lightly sand with about a 220 grit paper. Finishing touch is to then go along the edges with a heat gun. Looks factory by the time you are finished.
As for shapes, I leave enough on the front so I still have cover from the inside wheel & enough on the back so I don't get a wet arse.
Use masking tape to see what you like. _________________ If it's not upside down, you're not trying hard enough!

i cut my banshee plastics with a small grinder and a very thin cutting disk

If you've got an LTR450 Suzuki there's a template on the Yoshimura R&D website for cutting the front guards like they do for the suzuki/yoshi race team. It's posted under tips I think. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA
