I sat on the one that came to the Perth Bike show. Retail is $14990.00 but well worth every cent. You will only be fitting nerf bars, the rest is all there. This has to be the only true race ready production quad released.

just reading their specs gotta love their last line. Weight (ready to race) - 163kg (without fuel), must be an ecconomical machine

i would agree on the XC = cross country, GNCC, enduro,,,it would have the best production options

we'll have to wait and see for the MX model....I'd be surprised if that'll have a reverse gear
.
a couple of the KTM sales guys I've spoken to are a little confused when you mention the XC is like the EXC 2 wheeler and that a SX equivilent is coming-out
the XC can obviously be widened,,think rear axle has widening kit option already..

The model 525XC in definitly designed for Cross country/Off-Road/Enduro and based on that, I still qualify it as race ready. The axel has can be widened but I dont know how you would balance out the front end. The MX version will be closer to 49.5 inches give or take half an inch, so it would be competition for the LTR.
