So the Blaster is slowly taking shape this week.

I've got some money aside for some new rims and tyres, the only problem is the Blaster has a weird bolt pattern on the rear that the other Yamaha's apparently don't have.

One suggestion has been to replace the rear hubs with Banshee hubs, but being a newbie I have no idea if there would be much work involved in doing that or if it involves simply buying new hubs and bolting them on.

My current setup is as follows:

Front
4/156-10mm bolt pattern
10x5.5AT rim
21x7-10 tyre

Rear
4/100-10mm bolt pattern
8x8.0AT rim
21x10-8 tyre

Any advice regarding the suggestion of using Banshee hubs?

I'd really like some Kenda Klaws on some new rims and I'm determined not to settle for leaving the stock rims as they are.

Thank god for that! Now all I have to do is find some Banshee rear hubs.

That's a photo I came across in a Blaster forum. It's entitled "R6 Blaster" laughing

It's actually quiet stupid that the rear bolt pattern is different than all the other Yamaha's. 4/100 vs the standard 4/115.
However, any Yamaha rear hub (YFZ450, Raptor's, Banshee, etc.) will fit the Blaster.
Ask in "WANTED' section.
If that fails call some MC wreckers.
If that fails call a Yamaha dealer and get ready to get screwed Razz
