Hi all,sorry to burst the bubble,take away the novelty factor & the envious looks from a few civilians & Id call snow over rated.  It was too unpredictable & SLIPPERY,a bit like loose sand without paddles.I was a passenger a few times on the hard packed stuff on the road.  I wouldn't try it without bash plates as you cant see any rocks hiding under the surface.The photos were taken at & near the top of Mt Canobolas(1350?mts asl) here at Orange,central n.s.w.
