As title suggests, im considering moving to Brissy in the next month or so, just wanting to find the good suburbs, aswell as the ones to stay away from...
basically just want to suss them out when im up there in 2 weeks
up to 50-60km from the CBD would be good
thanks, ryan |

Ryan,
The suburbs to avoid depend on the size of your wallet! But basicly if you plan on wanting acreage I would base it on the road infastructure as it's getting close to impossible to drive anywhere in Brisbane now. Also, do you have to drive to a particular area for work or do you work from home? There are some good new estates going in 1/2 way between Bris and the GC and the South east freeway is normaly OK until you hit Springwood.
I dont think I would go about publicly shaming any particular suburbs as I wouldn't want to insult anyone, most of Bris is fine and I think the rest is fairly obvious.
Anyway, good luck. _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo

Go with Capalaba mate, its a nice area anyway and its close to the Gateway and work. About a 30 min drive to the city depending on traffic. I believe there is quite a few townhouse developments down there as well. Have a look on www.reaestate.com.au and search Capalaba with surrounding suburbs.
Cheers,
Greg. _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo
