the 08 RMZ's are running EFI's
Electronic Fuel Injection offers better roll on power and improved low-to-mid range power. KEIHIN throttle body specifically designed for motocross. Fuel is delivered via an internal fuel pump and is a battery-less system.
this appears to be different to the Quad EFI's
anyone confirm this?

No the only diffrence is the internal fuel pump. Otherwise it's the same I think. You don't need a battery for the quad but if you put a kicker on it you just need to install a capacitor

| Smitty, Cam's order is in for a black one- anyone wanna buy a "only ridden on Sunday" 2007 LTR. Re; RMZ fuel injection, hope it works well, there has been alot of headaches trying to get a reliable "batteryless" fuel injection system working well over the past few years. |

So we are getting the black ones are we? Look's damm cool but good luck keeping it that way.
They must have it sorted because the kickstart kit for the LT-R is working fine over in the U.S. and its batteryless. Check the link below

| depends on what gear goes with it, but should be pretty right for price, besides it hasnt had the absolute flogging Smittys gets { hope he reads this !!! }. Coz he's busy with VCE/school it doesnt get much use between meets. this is his second one in past 10 months, gets good deal from Suzuki { helps a bit when your dads a dealer! } Re; photos, luv to see them, email colacmotorcycles@gsat.edu.au . mitch and Jono got some good video, Mitch is staying with us at present. Cam seemed hell bent on passing every one as many times as possible in Production, must have spun out about 4 times and had to pass them all again each time. Good practise I suppose! |

| Smitty, luv to talk to someone thats used one for awhile. must some mother of a capacitor and I gotta wonder about the reliability, but it looks no bigger than a WR200 one.--- Still no definite on supply of black LTR, can only hope- and maybe haggle or hassle or harrass management! maybe they might bend if we order 50 farm quads!!! or how about you get duggy take 48 off me I'll keep 2 |
