Hi you're right it's been very quite on the forum. No one seems to be posting anything interesting lately.

Even all the regular guys who use to tell us of their rides and adventures have stopped posting.

I for one haven't riden my quad for a while due to renovations and selling my house. I'll be (homeless) for a while down the coast while the new house gets built so I guess I'll have plenty of times to go for some rides.

I joined the Australian Off Road Vehicle Association. These guys are doing great work trying to get ATV'S and side by sides legal. I've been told they are making head way in QLD and Vic.

We should ALL join AORVA and support them in their endeavours to make us legal.

Last year I went up to the Cape with my son and a few of his mates and I took my quad. Before going I got in touch with Cook Town council and arranged for a permit. I was very surprised how helpful the lady I dealt with was. I did 500 kms and loved it.

I have also been writing to my member of parliament and you all know how slow the computer generated responses take to reply.

So lets hear what you guys have been up to.

Hi Barney that's a good set up. I was thinking of doing something like that and ended up buying a new camper trailer instead.

Do you transport the quad in the trailer or on the back of the ute?

Tell me about the rego you have on the quad. I'm interested.

That ride sounds great where are you riding.
