It's been a while since I last posted anything on this site, for one it's been pretty much dead and second it's been awhile since I've been on a ride.
But last week we went away to a 50,000 acre property in Qld for a week of pig shooting, and before everyone goes up in arms about shooting wild pigs you should see what they do to the farmers live stock and the environment.
We had two quads one Polaris General side by side and four trail bikes. The riding varied from good formed tracks to out and out bush bashing.
I must admit it's been awhile since I've spent so much time riding.
In the week I did 450 km and to think we were on one property. The only down side is the fact it's 980 km from home.
I usually ride on State forest tracks down the coast looking over my shoulder, but this was just great.
The sooner we are allowed to ride legally in state forests like your allowed to do in Tasmania the better. |
