Hi All, sorry to pester but I am looking into getting couple of buggies. I have two kids so 2 x 2 seaters would be ideal and around 500cc.
Unfortunately the likes of the canam's etc are out of my budget, price range ideally is between $5000 - $8000 per buggy.
Can I get something reliable in this price range?
What is the quality of these Chinese CF Moto and Twister Hammerheads etc like these days?
Thanks |

most of them are ok these days. They are by no means quick even with a 500cc lawn mower motor (thats basically what they are) but parts are readily available for them
for your budget if you are handy with a welder id would say buy the plans of something and build it yourself and throw a bike motor in. Will be way more beneficial and save some cash also
food for thought
otherwise you can go for these kinds of things. http://www.proracer.com.au/index.php?catPath=_0_340
imported from china in bulk so they are sold cheap. like i said parts are easily available and cheap also |

| Maybe have a look at the Polaris 170. You haven't said what ages the kids are but the Polaris seems to get good reviews from people that actually own them and for the money you're talking about you'd be able to get the big wheel kit (or an equivalent aftermarket upgrade) and maybe an exhaust upgrade etc. |

cfmoto have stepped up there game.
gear boxes and suspension (I believe) are Canadian made now.
there really putting in effort to not be seen as a Chinese knock off.
know some people with the cfmoto quads and there having zero issues.
there also holding big events overseas now and competing against other buggies in there class.
there kinda hard to look past or at least consider these days |
