Hi guys, a real noob at ATV's/Quad's so be kind

I have been given a running quad for my son that is running but needs a fair bot of work on it to tidy it up and ensure it is running smoothly, my problem however is that it appears to be a no brand quad. I am fairly sure it is a cheapy but not really sure, I know it is not a big name brand. Fortunately it has a governer on it so I can limit the power available until I am confident he has the skills to use it and not be stupid on it

The previous owners have told me it is a Loncin engine, er yer ok... but what does that tell me? The engine sounds good which is a positive . I need to do a fair bit of cleaning etc as you will see from the photos below and I need to replace all the fuel lines as there is a few leaks. So all of that is easy enough to do, however parts is one thing I am not sure where to start and where to get from, obviously ebay is an option but if I knew what model it is I might be able to be sure I am getting the right parts. Like I need a chain guard as apparently the one that was on it came off not sure where it is but the chain will sometimes come off I am told.

Here are some photos, maybe you can tell me by looking at them what it is or maybe you can point me where to look to get the details I need. If you need more photos to help identify it please let me know and I will take some more

Do you know the model number at all, or how can I identify that. I need a few parts and would like to try online for parts if possible (usually cheaper)

it looks to me like a 150gy engine, very common in 150cc chinese atv's, with a cvt transmission.

in nsw zuma products were the distributor of an atv called a linmax. they were available in the 150 cvt and a 110 semi auto. the pictures you have posted look very similar to the linmax 150. www.zuma.com.au

the picture on zuma's website shows a linmax 150-3, which I believe is their current model. your pictures look like the first version that zuma brought to Australia between approx. 2003 and 2008.
