Has anyone else had a problem with the CF500 reverse speed limiter? _________________ CF Moto CF500 '12

It's got a reverse??????
Little button with a triangle is supposed to over ride the limiter.
Has never worked on mine, so no problem here. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

When ever I go to reverse up a hill it just hits the reverse rev limiter, even when I press the button nothing changes. I've gotten stuck many times on the smallest hill and it become rather annoying! _________________ CF Moto CF500 '12

If it's still under warranty, you know what to do.
If that isn't a option, maybe disconnect the reverse sensor at the plug and try that? _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

Yes my and my friends x5's do the same thing very annoying I would like to remove the limiter in reverse. And the little button triangle thing only overrides the limiter on 4wd lock low range forwards well that's all it does on our quads anyway.
And I did not find any mention in the owners hand book for that button to override the reverse limiter. just the what I said above is all it mentions. |
