father of 2 here, just teaching them to ride.
Currently have
1x125 manual chines bike
1x125 semi auto foxico chinese bike
1x250 Trojan (I think)
Only just got the 250 and getting it up and running smoothly, damn battery issues.
Kids are only just learning to ride the youngest has taken to the manual 125, but not well experienced at changing gears yet, has the take offs under control.
I am in the south east suburbs and do most riding down Gippsland way, usually on the weekends at least 1 day we go down there, chasing a bigger trailer atm as I cant quite fit 3 quads on my trailer so I leave a bike at the brother in laws place.
I enjoy a can or after a ride, or during and enjoy having a chat diagnosing and troubleshooting bike problems, got most of my experience working on clevelands.
Anybody else in the same area with good ride locations let me know, am always up for hitting the tracks with people and finding new locations |

I got myself a 12v 14a motobatt.
Took it out today fired up okay, later on had starting issues and it seems the side of the starter solenoid that connects to the battery has gotten quite hot and melted some plastic.
Has anybody had much experience changing a complete loom, Mechanicals are not a problem for me especially ford V8's, so easy to work on, but electricals annoy the crap out of me.
Have seen wiring looms for sale complete with coil, cdi and all the wires needed and wondering if its worthwhile ?? |
