Hello guys I am chasing info please. as I have spent meany years racing quads but now iv sold them and got a Polaris RZRs . my question is what is the way you work tyer pressure out on these ? is it the same as quads around 6 to 8 psi ? and to do enduro events do you need to still wear MX boots ? _________________ Sponsors ,Cullys Yamaha,Pirtek Malaga

No you won't need MX boots. Check the Sup-regs for each event you enter as some will vary.
In general, sturdy enclosed shoes to above the ankle have been the norm so far, but everyone is still feeling there way on what should be mandatory or not.
Tyre pressures are a preference thing, and it depends on the type of racing once again.
Where higher speed handling is a requirement, you would always be upward of 8psi.
Maybe 8 -13psi is a good range for a light weight 6ply tyre.
Heavier ply tyres can generally run slightly lower pressures for the same result.
I ran 10-11.5psi on ARC rally roads depending on conditions. _________________ Can-Am X Team

Make sure you replace the Sprague carrier in the front diff with a billet aluminium one, when it lets go it will cost over $1000 to replace the diff rather than the $200 for the aftermarket bit (learnt that the hard way). You can buy them off eBay USA otherwise I have a brand new one that I kept as a spare when I was racing my RZR S (now in an XP). Also, watch the stock hubs, they will break. _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo
