Hi All,
I have just joined this site, I live near Fish Creek, Victoria. I currently own 2 quads, 1995 Suzuki LT-F4WDXS 300cc 4wd King Quad and a 1999 Suzuki LT-F500FX 500cc 4wd Quadrunner. I bought my king quad last year and paid a six pack of VB cans, it had a few issues at first, but slowly I have fixed most of these problems. I bought my Quadrunner about 3 months ago, it had been sitting outside the blokes shed for over 12 months, no cover, no plastics, paid $150 for it, the bloke had tipped it over backwards going up a hill.

All plastics are badly cracked and twisted, front and rear racks are bent and broken, handlebars badly bent, after washing it down, found frame is BADLY rusted, it has had 1.5inchx 1inch box welded under full length of main frame, which has held it all together. Motor started up without any problems, runs great, heaps of power.

So currently getting plastics welded, making up new front and rear racks using 1/2" square box tubing, cleaned and flushed cooling system, doing full oil and filter change. Trying to rebuild or replace front disc calipers, will also rebuild frame. Will post up some pic's asap.
