Probably nothing new but I was wondering how do you tune the carby on this bike LT-F4WDW 250cc quad 98 model.Only just got into the quad bikes and not too sure on stuff.Just the basics if you can help.It has a hose coming from the bottom of the carby with a screw in it what is this for.As well the "CHOKE" cable I think it is is slightly pulled out of the carby itself and the cable seems to be frozen up and I cant get the cable to go back into the carby. After starting it idles good but after it really gets warmed up 5-10 mins it idles really high and I am not sure what to do to idle it down. Is it possible to take this cable out and run it without the choke in the carby, just put a screw in to block the hole up in the carby where the cable came out???
So any help would be gratefully accepted.
Thanks For Looking

its not a choke. per definitation a choke restricts air flow into the carb. this makes the air fuel ratio go rich with too much fuel. the new means is via an enrichner. the plunger that is stuck which is the choke carble u are talking about actually opens a plunger valve that allows additional fuel to be drawn up and into the air stream which raises air fuel mixture while allowing plenty of air into the motor to help start the ignition of the motor.
