I have only just bought my YFZ450 and from what I can see near Sydney their is only Binacrombi (Goulburn) or Barleigh Park MX (Newcastle). Also Singleton Motorbike club allows quads. Yet to go to any but I am going to check them all out in the new year. From what I can see Singleton is good for the kids. I was hoping that Tugalong (near Bowral)was going to get approved but I beleive that Council recently knocked it back. Let us know if you find any others. cheers _________________ Rusty99 |

does it really need to be a ride park ?
I do alot of four wheel driving and iam looking to get a grizzly and there would be plently of places you can go and never see a ranger.
ie mini mini state forest nsw, sunny corner nsw, merlya state forest nsw, bargo nsw, plenty of riding in the watagans. _________________ World of Oz - www.oztexs.com |

I am a huge ATV riding supporter and am looking at getting some down under rides in while I am on vacation. My wife and I will be on the East coast from DEC 23 to Jan 14 and would like to find some great rides. I see some sand dunes out of Newcastle; do they have some good rental ATV’s in that area? I currently ride a Raptor 843 so I expect to not find anything like that but a stock 700 would be great for a day or 2. I also plan on doing some scuba diving as well I know off topic but looking for good info on this as well. Anyway so looking forward to seeing the sites.
Thank you for any information

Only rental quads on Stockton Beach (Near Newcastle) are tourist friendly AG. type Quads... and I think they keep a pretty tight reign on you as far as speed and "adventurous" riding goes...
If you want contact details, let me know, they are based near me.. |

wa5 thank you for the information, it is about the same way for the rentals at the oregon dunes but as I will be a tourist I will take what I can get. My wife dose not ride like me so going slower will make her happy. Anyway any details would be great.
Thank You

| I'll wander up tommorrow and get some details off them, Havnt done thier tour, but it should be interesting in a touristy kind of way, I think they show you the tank traps set up during WW2 , also I would think they would go to the Sygna, a shipwreck from 1974. |

I think the sygna is one of the stops, I have sent them a e-mail and it would seem that a 400cc kemco is the ride. With all the land in Australia I would think ATV's would be all over the place. Do you have lots of laws agenst them? I know hear in the states they keep trying to take the land away and we keep fighting back to keep it. If you go to my rides I have posted some photos of my ATV and some other mates I ride with. I would love to help any of you with questions about parts or things you can do to upgrade. I know quite a bit about the raptor 700. Anyway thanks _________________ Raptor 843 NW Raptor Rally Event Organizer the largest Raptor rally in the world for now. |
