Hey,

So first off they are Fox Comp 5 Undertow boots.

Yes I know there is a break in period but they are to thick for my lever, I am at a 40 degree angle just to shift. Is that normal or not?

I have only ridden on them for around 3-4 hours though but still to shift is now a hassle and those couple of hours riding were horrible. I don't feel like I have ever been so uncomfortable riding, it felt natural before shifting and clutching etc but now it feels like I have never riden before Sad

Help me please Sad what do I do? I only recently bought them as well I payed just over $200 AUD for them; http://www.mcas.com.au/_product.php?section=2&prodid=12323

They are really thick boots and I honestly don't know what to do and if they are they way they are eg always going to be this thick and wont settle or break in properly let me know asap so I can return them.

Thanks.

try adjusting you shift lever , and you will get used to it . I remember the first time i put on mx boots and i hated it , was used to the blundstones . But you will get used to it and getting the lever in the right spot will help ..
good luck

Ohk I will adjust it, is there a limit on how high I should go? obviously not to high but so my boot can fit comfortably underneath?

Thanks.

You will get used to them and will be real thankful if your foot peg snaps (yup been there) or when that first piece of wood gets flicked up by the front wheel
