Polaris 976cc wrong, the picture isn't even a polaris or can am and there is some great sales pitches going on there.

I'm going for polaris cause I'm gonna race

It will be interesting it will come down to the best driver, and I think Cody crocker will have it in the bag over the few rounds, no one in Australia has spent more time in a sxs than he has as well as he is a rally driver in a polaris xp.

I think the guys on the central coast would be fairly confidant of having spent at least as much time in a SXS in competition as Cody as I haven't seen him competing in those events and I think there has been far more many of them than say winch or customer promo's etc.

I'm not saying Cody wont but there is not only guys who have probably had more SXS wheel time than Cody and then there are guys with significant rally experience. Cody's other massive experience and ARC track experience will give him good measure and likely give him rank 1.

I won't give anyone outside of a a factory driver a chance at number 1 but I'd give any factory driver a chance at number 1.

Being year one I believe there is as much to be found out about mechanical weaknesses (Polaris may have that info and Holz may also have that info) what needs to be serviced when, what corner and tyre pressure and what entry and exit. Looks like tyres are open and significant difference will be experienced between tyres. All that will be exploited by factory teams. If anyone else has that all sorted to perfection Cody will be the first to tell you, its got to be a lucky year, one bad round will sink you over anyone with 4 perfect rounds in a short series.

Did you get yourself an XP to drive and is in under Beecheys Banner? Hope you get a good ride out of it.

If you mean the guys from snake racing from sydney they will be there in numbers the amount of drivers doing all 4 rounds will be minimal due to the timing and getting everything ready.

We are underway with plans to attend details will be announced shortly on sponsors etc. And yes it is an xp with support from polaris and luke beechey Motorsports

Ha Roy we have Cody lookin over his shoulder trust me, He is only human LOL !!!! but it is a little unfair that he & some of the Polaris Factory Team guys r all ready driving the tracks at Calder Park so we at Snake Racing will have to be at the top of our game it will be very intresting to c how it pans out over the hole series
Some of us guys at Snake Racing have competed at a National level before
Bathurst, Austalian Production Car Championship, Australasian Safari, Speedway, Tuff Truck & One at this level & defended our National Championships !!!! so dont right us of just yet
We Building & Designing what we race its a mad buzz, so it is not in the bag 4 Cody yet not by a long shot

Perth round is a killer, thats why I will stick to the factory guys as my pick for number1 and there are some impressive privateers.

Even still with Cody's driving experience i believe the Can Am guy in the article on ARC has a similar amount but Cody's done the ARC before so knows if not specific tracks he's familiar with what tyre for what course because of soil conditions.

Like I said, in 4 rounds, one bad round may put you behind anyone who even does 4 average but solid rounds.

SxS Froggy, or SSV.
Being a CAMS Class now, any Promoter CAN choose to run this new specification category.
Quads can not run under CAMS but they can run the same events under MA if the Event Promoter goes that way.
Australasian Safari, Condo 750 and many others invite both CAMS and MA.
Some of the State Forrest Rally's do to.

MA also support SSV at Thumbpump, as an alternative event.

So there is a bit of confusing machine cross over around the place, but really it comes down to the event sup regs and what the overarching bodies will insure.

I learnt heaps and ran pretty well, and identified a heap of areas I hope to improve.
It was the first time Naomi and I had ever sat in the brand new Commander, and coming from completely different backgrounds, it was a tall task with lots of unknowns.
The last 2 runs (of something like 27) were not for points but I was not aware of that at the time. I think I was doing better every run and was looking forward to climbing a spot or two in those last few.
Disaster struck, and a fuel injector clip popped off...
When does that ever happen?!?!
I thought it was all over, and found out later that the last two runs were just demonstration.
So Naomi and I were very lucky.
The Commander is great, and we only have a few little tweaks to do before the WA round.

Thanks! Don't worry there was lots of excitement on the inside...
A heap of nerves, and a smell of burning rubber from all of the concentration
We had a ball, and everyone else did to. I think it was the first time Naomi has ever hit a wall of mud without a windscreen, for me, that was gold!
All the other crews were a great bunch of fellas.
The best attitudes, heaps of smiles and good laughs.
It was great to catch up with Ryan and the very well presented boys from Snake Racing.
Some crews had an obvious hell bent focus purely on making it the most fun they have ever had in there lives.
It was pretty cool
