This is a recent post by a well known young rider at our club, not too mention the what is said by the president of the club when he's pissed and likes to run his mouth off about quads are the reason there numbers have dropped, its just so disapponting that they are so neg against us, we have helped our club out with the flagging situation in such a big way, and other jobs, they still critaze us, and when we speak up we basiclly get told to shut up and little steps at a time go along way, just so disapponting for my kids that there won't be quads this year at our local club meets.

I read the whole post on FB...he sounds real intelligent.

If you go make a track on public land...what do you think will happen?

And if you ride a 2 wheeler and can't ride without ruts...get a new sport

If they were any good at riding they wouldn't need the ruts

This is one of the reason I got out of two wheelers years ago cause of sooky little girls like this.

This josh Tilbrook must need training wheels to ride his bike cause if he was a decent rider he wouldn't be bothered about a quad riding "his" track on public land. He sounds like one of these sooky little whiny pansy's that whine and complain at race days when the track dry's out a bit or when it gets watered complains the moisture content is too high.

All I can say is crawl back under your mummies skirt and have a cry Josh Tilbrook!!!

Yours Sincerely Neil!!! pmsl

I rode motocross at Maitland NSW some years back , and for a few years they had the quads ride generally the last heat of each round of the day.
I will say that almost all the people in the crowd packed over at the main finish jump for what can only be said was some very ballsy and entertaining riding.
It then started that the quads were destroying the track , I ask this , HOW when quads use different lines are so wide and have wider tires than a mx bike , I always found the race after the quads was when the track was at its best as it was smoothed out and nicely dusted by the quads even more so when they could run two wide . All i can say is that its usually a small minority of idiots to stop a good thing , keep fighting you deserve to be there

i should state this praticular track his talking about is a bush track that is out in the middle the scrub that anyone can go rally, but because him and his family are right up there in the club and with the presidant anti quad guys, and bitch after every meet last year there where no ruts, is why he decide to post it up, there trying to make it pretty clear where not wanted, non the other quad guys wanna ride this year out there now, which kinda sux for me and my kids, but then again we dont really wanna ride at a club that blames us after the meeting that where the reason no 2 wheelers turned up.

You guys should just keep riding if it's on public land just to piss him off
What right has this kid got to dictate to who can ride there

What a wanker. Quads got kicked off our local MX track, only because the crumpets couldn't get organised enough to run two extra classes in a day. I still ride there though. Sometimes they know about it, others they don't. Laughing Laughing

I wouldnt give the club a cent and let everyone know about their attitude towards the quad comunity, and hope it hurts them where it matters the most.

Im new to the forum but have been involved with quad racing for 8 years .Ihave seen a lot of this attitude towards us having been involved with track prep at a club at colac i had the same problem , both my sons rode as well as my self. I dont know the anwer but i do know in the US that they race 2 wheels on same tracks as quads and they work well together, perhaps we have to learn to prep tracks better asi know there is a lot in that . All i can say is keep at it we are making in roads The only way we will go forward is to get it out to the people , support your clubs as we will go no where with out them . I applaud Mick for instigating Thumpump as it has made great in roads in to getting it out there to the people . Keep it up guys , Col 51

Will test the water on the 29th/ 30th september with our cross country. Quads on saturday, Bikes on sunday, there really are some tools out there as this whole cc event was the idea of some of the top 2 wheeler guys saying , "Why don`t you organise a cross country and have quads one day and bikes the next"

So that`s what we`re organising.

Sounds like this two wheeler is uneducated , I was spectating at tamworth a while back and I'm fair sure they got the quads out at the start of the day to flatten the track out ?.

2 wheelers used to get pissed off with us at Black Duck, but it's because most quads left them for dead. At least at Qld Moto Park they are giving us our own track time. Agree that if they can't ride without the ruts, then they can't ride.
