Hello Everyone
This is to let everyone know that our 1st social weekend is on 3/4 March at Queensland Moto Park (Wyaralong)
If you are coming please send in a attendance form from our web site so we know how many to cater for for dinner on saturday night.
If you go to there web site and prebook your camping and riding that will make it easer for everyone.
How much will it cost to ride there?
At this stage the entry fees will be:
Adult MA licence holder - $35 ($39 for non SEQ Council of Mayors region)
Adult non-MA licence holder - $42.50 ($47 for non SEQ Council of Mayors region)
Child (U16 years) MA licence holder - $20 ($22 for non SEQ Council of Mayors region)
Child (U16 years) non-MA member, $25 ($28 for non SEQ Council of Mayors region)
Can Quads ride there?
The park will cater for Quads, particularly on special Quad Ride Days. On all other days, Quads may not have access to the whole facility
Where is Queensland Moto Park located?
It’s located at Wyaralong, between Beaudesert and Boonah.
From Brisbane or Ipswich, head towards Boonah, then turn left onto the Beaudesert-Boonah Road. Turn right about 2.5 km onto the brand new Goan Road.
From the Gold Coast or Beaudesert, head along the Beaudesert-Boonah Road and turn left into Goan Road. |

Would love to be there but unfortunately have other things on.
Are there going to be any more social ride weekends at Manar?
One little suggestion though, try and have these organised with more than 5 days notice, especially for those of us who would have 5 hours or more to travel.
Thanks
Josh |

Hey Dickie to answer your questions
Yep May day long weekend is a social weekend for the club and then again for the queens birthday weekend (june).
The QQRA calender has been up on the website for a month or so and the social weekend for the 3/4 march was going to be at Rover park (NSW) but due to no interest it was moved to wyaralong.
Are you coming to Hook and Sonias at easter for the quad fun ride weekend?? if not we'll see you on the may day weekend.

Hi Neil
Thanks for the info. Will try to make it to the Manar weekends. My friends and I are looking to head there in the next couple of weeks. We will just see what happens.
As for the easter weekend, no, I wont be there unfortunately. I am racing the teams event at TP300 with Paul (flipper). |

It was good to see around 20 or so quads getting around the park.
It was also good to catch up with some old friends and meet some new one.By the way all the quads were looking very dirty by the end of the day and even some of the 2 wheeled were happy we were there to clean up some of the tracks.By all reports the trails were ok for quads but a little ruff in places. The little kids had a ball riding on the novice tracks and on the 65 mx track, giving some 2 wheel kids a good hurry up and showing them that a quad can jump there table tops too.
All in all it was a great day. _________________ LIFE SHORT PLAY HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

The facility at Wyaralong is not a bad set up.It would have to be the best bikepark in our backyard. One hour or so from home is hard to beat.We also met a few new people and put names to faces as well. The trails were pretty wet first ride but i think they were pretty primo after that. There seemed to plenty of room for everyone as traffic on the trails was fairly light.Maybe there could be a fair bit of dust on a dry day though.
the mx tracks looked pretty good, plenty of riders using them.
